Arctic Inspiration Prize

Northern Lights 2016 has partnered with the Arctic Inspiration Prize (AIP) to host the 4th annual AIP Awards Ceremony. In the presence of guest speaker His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, help us celebrate the 2015 laureates of the $1M prize that awards excellence in teamwork for the benefit of Canada’s Arctic peoples and communities.

The event will be hosted by Peter Mansbridge and will feature the award of the $1M Prize, as well as a performance by northern artists Tanya Tagaq, Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory, Christine Duncan and the Nunavut Sivuniksavut choir presented in collaboration with the National Arts Centre.
